Q - Why is HSE training important?
A - HSE training is important to help people understand their heath and issues about their surrounding environment—and most importantly to educate people on how to stay safe
Q - What field of work requires this type of training?
A - Anyone from any field of work would benefit from HSE training as it applies to everyone, not only at their workplace, but in their daily lives
Q - Can I enrol in courses independently or does it have to be through my company?
A - Anyone can enrol, independently or through their current employer
Q - Do you provide courses other than the ones mentioned on the website?
A - We do provide courses other than the ones already mentioned—because of our affiliation with the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, we are able to compile courses based on client needs
Q - What type of certification do you have?
A - Upon successful completion of any one of our courses, you will receive a University of Louisiana Certificate, that awards you CEU credits that can later be used to further your education, and is recognized by a multitude of Internationally recognized US and European bodies.
Q - What does your affiliation with ULL entail?
A - ULL is our certifying body and therefore must audit and approve all of our course content before we are allowed to teach it—ULL must also qualify and approve our instructors before they can issue any certificates
Q - What would I receive upon successful completion of the course?
A - Upon successful completion of the course, you would receive a ULL certificate that also awards you with CEU credits that can go towards furthering your education
Q - Can you offer these courses in other countries?
A - It is possible for us to offer these courses in other countries, however negotiations and planning must go into approving this request
Q - Do we have to register with your company before enrolling in any courses?
A - Yes
Q - What are the minimum requirements to enrol in any of the offered courses?
A - Many of the basic courses do not have any pre-requisites—however many of the technical/high-end training courses do require a degree in the given field.
Q - Do your course offerings have a set schedule or are they based on individual bookings?
A - Some courses have a pre-set schedule, others can be booked based on individual needs
Q - What is your course cancellation policy?
A - 48 hours minimum notice must be given. Any period of time less than 48 hours the responsible party must incur the total cost of training
Q - What is the minimum and maximum number of attendees for a given course?
A - For most courses, the minimum number of attendees is 5 and t he maximum is 15—some other courses have different minimums based on course setting
Q - How far in advance must a course be booked?
A - A minimum of one weeks notice must be given in order for a booking to be set in our training schedule
Q - How long after the completion of the course can I expect to receive my certificate?
A - Since the certificates are issued from the US, a delivery period of 2 – 3 weeks should be expected
Q - What are your payment policies?
A - Before any course can be booked, a Purchase Order must be received by our Accounts Department; payment is to be made no later than 15 days post-course delivery date
Q - Do you offer courses in languages other than English?
A - Due to our affiliation with an American University in the US, all our courses are offered in English
Q - Do you provide transportation to the training venue?
A - Transportation to the training venue is expected to be provided by the client
Q - Is lunch provided for full day classes?
A - We do offer a full meal at lunch time for full-day classes
